1834: Returned from Stanstead, the family left for Ogdensburg, New York where they found a small branch of the Church (Some of Brother Kimball's first converts.) During 1835 children who were 8 or upwards were baptized by Elder Abraham Palmer.

Abraham Whitney PALMER was born on 4 DEC 1807 in Sherburne, Chenango County, New York. He was ordained a High Priest in OCT 1841. In 1850 he was a carpenter in Pottawattamie County, Iowa. He appeared in the census on 27 SEP 1850 in Pottawattamie County, Iowa. He appeared in the census on 5 JUL 1860 in Ogden, Weber County, Utah. (living in the same household in a Anna Palmer age 3 b. NY.) He died on 25 MAY 1875 at Fayette, Sanpete County, Utah. Alternate place of death: Glenwood, Sevier County, Utah. He was buried in Fayette, Sanpete County, Utah. He was ordained a Bishop in Cainesville, Harrison County, Missouri. Places of Residence: Ogden, Weber County, Utah

Vocations: 1860 - Farmer; School Teacher; Carpenter.

Comments: In 1860, Abraham had a household of 5, with a real wealth of $560 and a personal wealth of $260. Abraham came to Utah in 1847. He was captain of his own company of fifty. Abraham was couselor to Lorin Farr in the Weber, Utah Stake Presidency. Abraham was appointed to go on a mission to Chicago, Illinois. Parents: Noah PALMER and Tursy (Thirzah or Thirza) WHITNEY.

She appeared in the census on 5 JUL 1860 in Ogden, Weber County, Utah. She appeared in the census on 4 JUN 1880 in Glenwood, Sevier County, Utah.
